I am so excited to announce that I’m bringing my blog back with a bang!! 10 days of blogs all about beauty products. What more could you want?! For the second year, the lovely Beth from la blog beaute has organised the bloggers Christmas beauty brawl and I’m so pleased that I found out about it in time to join in this year! You can follow along on twitter or Instagram with #beautybrawl16

Basically, each day all the bloggers involved will review a beauty product. Each day is a different product, but we will all review a product of the same type (e.g. moisturiser) there may be some overlap between products as we don’t know what each other has posted until after but i know i am looking forward to seeing how everyone else rates their products! The best part? We will all be using a ‘top trumps’ card as a rating system so packaging, the product itself and the price will all be rated out of 100. We will also include more in depth analysis of the product alongside the card.

Taking part will be…

Beth – La Blog Beauté

Victoria – Victoria Life On Camera

Elaine – Early Retirement Rocks

Kimberley Jessica – Kimberley Jessica

Tori – Powdered and Polished

It Feels Like Forever…

Laura

http://www.littlelaura.net/

It’s been ages since I last posted, but I’ve had a fair bit going on! We’ve been trying to get the wedding plans finalised, sort Christmas out and Dan’s changed to night shift so that took some getting used to! I have some posts lined up over the next few days so you can see some of what I’ve been up to!

Today however, I want to share something different. Unfortunately, Over the summer a friend of mine was tragically killed In a car accident. Laura always worked hard, and spent a lot of time working with the disabled. Due to her untimely death, she never fulfilled her dream of becoming a teacher. So, her family, colleagues, and friends have decided to continue raising money for Marshlands Special School and RDA (riding for the disabled) in her memory.

I would really appreciate it if you looked at the webpage for her to learn more about this amazing girl. She was someone who made a huge impression on everyone she met, and is missed by everyone who knew her.

“puttery treats”…

There I was looking for something to read last night on my kindle and I found “scrumptious treats for vintage housekeepers” by Alison May and I have to say I fell in love with the whole idea. THEN I found her website here and I was simply even more enamoured. I’ve spent quite a bit of time today reading her blog and thoroughly enjoyed my self. Go check it out! You wont regret it.
