So, every few months i take it upon myself to plan the weeks meals in advance. However, it always fails. we either dont want what ive planned, we run out of something, or i make too much stuff so we cant eat it all. As we usually shop on a friday/saturday im going to start it from there, and to begin with im only going to plan the evening meal before hopefully bringing in lunches as well in the near future. In theory, meal planning should help us stick to a budget and in order to help me with this im going to buy one big joint of meat, roast it and use it over a few days in different ways. So, im going to try again, and this time i hope you’ll all try it with me so here we go…

Week 1

Saturday… Lamb pitta breads.

Sunday… Roast lamb

Monday… Garlic chicken and salad

Tuesday… Shepard’s pie

Wednesday… Roasted vegetables and sausages

Thursday… Leftovers

Friday… Chicken curry

Now the plan is to make and stick to my shooping list…fingers crossed lets see how it goes next week!
